Airline customers and cabin crews alike want in-flight entertainment systems to work reliably. If you’ve tried off-the-shelf HVAC or in-house filters and you’re looking for another option — that also meets flammability requirements — we’ve got you covered. Help maintain flight readiness and ensure the entertainment is ready to go with our IFE air filters.
Like avionics, video systems on commercial aircraft need the air keeping them cool to be filtered. Cabin air is filtered already, but IFE filters provide a final layer of filtration before air meets the electronics.
The IFE air filters also need to meet flammability requirements from the Federal Aviation Regulation 25.853 (FAR) because they’re installed in the cabin. Using AS391 quality systems and materials, we have been entrusted to design IFE air filters for many commercial aircraft, including Airbus (A330, A350) and Boeing (747, 767, 777) applications. They rely on our expertise in using synthetic media that meets these regulation requirements.
